Brief Biography

Wesley Lauka was born in San Diego, California, where he spent his youth never far from a computer; a habit which has endured regardless of geographic residence. His interest in technology and art was kindled at SIGGRAPH 2003. The international conference introduced Wesley to the energy of the environment that is evolving at the intersection of the two disciplines

Wesley completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2011 from Bowling Green State University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan. He aspires to work creatively as a UX designer and developer, leveraging a dualistic respect for both design and technology, towards implementing highly useable, interactive websites and applications.

Away from the computer, he finds enjoyment in reading just about anything, watching engaging films, and drinking tea.
