Brief Biography

Wesley Lauka was born in San Diego, California, where he spent his youth never far from a computer; a habit which has endured regardless of geographic residence. This interest was further kindled with a trip back to San Diego to attend SIGGRAPH 2003. The international conference introduced Wesley to the energy of the environment that is evolving at the intersection of technology and fine art.

Enamored with the grandiosity and limitless potential of the field, Wesley has since become invested in a future surrounded by digital doctrine. His interests have blossomed to focus on Internet based art, and the multitude of disciplines that exist within the world wide web. He aspires to work creatively as a designer and developer, leveraging a dualistic respect for both design and technology, towards implementing highly useable, interactive websites and applications.

Away from the computer, he finds enjoyment in speculative fiction, contemporary film, and tea.
